Nyla Gardner, MSN, RN-C, CARN, the Program Coordinator of the NH Suboxone Program in Somersworth, has earned her credentials as a Certified Addictions Registered Nurse.  The  certification is through the International Nurses Society on Addictions (intnsa.org) a professional specialty organization founded in 1975 for nurses committed to the prevention, intervention, treatment, and management of addictive disorders.

The addictive disorders include alcohol and other drug dependencies, nicotine dependencies, eating disorders, dual and multiple diagnosis, and process addictions such as gambling.  Eligibility criteria for this test included at least 4,000 hours of nursing experience related to addictions, which Nyla met and exceeded with her extensive experience counseling patients with addictions.

The NH Suboxone Program treats those with an opiate addiction and strives to provide opiate replacement therapy in a safe and friendly environment focused on recovery, relapse prevention, and a permanent return to normalcy. Patients receive personal attention from physicians who are specially certified to prescribe Suboxone (buprenorphine).

The NH Suboxone Program is located in Pinewood Medical Center at 255 Route 108 in Somersworth, NH.  If you or someone you know is suffering from an opiate addiction, call 841-2301.
